What started over thirty years ago as a passion for solving technology problems has grown into one of Ocean County’s most trusted names in computer repair and IT support — built entirely on word of mouth, repeat clients, and a simple philosophy: do the job right, be honest about what it costs and why, and treat every client the way you’d want to be treated yourself.
We’re not a franchise. We’re not a big box store. We’re not a managed service provider with a helpdesk in another state. We’re one experienced technician who has spent more than three decades solving virtually every computer and IT problem imaginable – for home users, work from home professionals, and small businesses across Ocean County.
A Different Kind of IT Support
Most of our small business clients come to us because they’re tired of dealing with vendors who oversell, technicians who don’t listen, and support lines that put them on hold for an hour before telling them to reboot. We operate differently.
We tell you what’s wrong, what it will take to fix it, and what it’s going to cost — before we start. We don’t upsell services you don’t need. Who We Work With
We work with home users and small businesses throughout Ocean County – from Toms River and Beachwood to Bayville, Manchester, Whiting, and the surrounding communities. For home users we provide everything from virus removal and computer repair to network setup and remote support. For small businesses we serve as an outsourced IT department – the person you call when something goes wrong, when you need new systems set up, or when you just need honest advice about a technology decision.

About the Owner
Berkeley Computer Services was founded and is operated by a lifelong technology professional with over thirty years of hands-on experience — from home users in Ocean County to the corporate world at the highest level. Early in his career he was brought in as a consultant to one of the Big 5 consulting firms to solve a problem their own team couldn’t crack – helping design and implement one of the first large-scale VPNs in the world.
He chose to bring that expertise home to Ocean County rather than pursue the corporate lifestyle of constant travel and hotels. Thirty years later that decision has benefited hundreds of local clients who get Fortune 500 level expertise delivered personally and locally.
No call center. No ticket system. Just direct access to someone who has seen and solved problems at every level – and chose to be here at home in Ocean County.
